Gusto Gusto
Finalists for both 2023 and 2024 Australian Folk Music Awards’ Artist of the Year, Gusto Gusto are dance floor favourites. Hailing from West Preston, a tiny pocket in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, the last two years have seen them storming stages including Glastonbury Festival (UK), Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Dark MOFO (TAS), Tablelands Folk Festival (QLD) and Brunswick Music Festival (VIC), and supporting acts Snarky Puppy (US), Skerryvore (Scotland), The Bamboos and The Black Jesus Experience.
In October 2024, Gusto Gusto released their anticipated debut album ‘…To The Ocean They Returned’, a raucous blend of violin, trumpet and clarinet, backed by accordion, guitar, bass and drums. The album debuted at #5 on the ARIA Charts.

The Ocelots (Ireland)
The Ocelots are twin brothers Ashley & Brandon Watson from Wexford, Ireland. Formerly a school band, The Ocelots learned their craft by playing blues standards and indie-rock songs during lunchtime. They finished school and began backpacking and street-performing around Europe. After releasing their first EP ‘Till We Get There’, which hit more than 1.7 million streams, they spent the following years backpacking which became extensive touring around Europe and Australia.
In 2025 they released their new album ‘Everything, When Said Slowly’.
The Backyard Banjo Club
Hailing from Northern Melbourne, The Backyard Banjo Club are a tangled mess of banjo, violin, accordion, saxophone and bass. Sometimes upbeat, sometimes sultry, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and we always have fun. Think Wes Anderson meets Quentin Tarantino for a festival set.
From sell-out Melbourne shows to folk clubs and festivals around the country including Woodford Folk Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival and Tablelands Folk Festival, we bring tongue-in-cheek stage banter and a healthy dose of instrumental finesse to the stage.
